Ossigeno, le radici della vista

Oxygen: the roots of sight

The first assistance for survival is oxygen.
When born with severe prematurity, children are intubated with 100% oxygen.
Oxygen 24 hours a day with the hope that the lungs will complete and start independently.
The complications of an oxygen induced inside an incubator can lead to a partial or total detachment of the retina, called retinopathy of the premature (rop).
This work draws inspiration from -florangiography- images of retinas of prematurely born infants who have suffered a rop.
Only time, love and a God can reveal whether retinopathy will regress or if one will live without seeing.
